Ernexa Therapeutics, Inc. engages in the provision of cell engineering therapies. The company is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts and currently employs 5 full-time employees. The firm is focused on using cutting-edge gene-editing tools to deliver safe off-the-shelf cell therapies for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Its Pipeline includes ERNA-101, and ERNA-102. Its core technology utilizes engineer allogenic-induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to express genes of interest and to efficiently differentiate these cells into mesenchymal stem cells (iMSCs). The firm seeks to capitalize on the intrinsic tumor-homing ability of MSCs to slip through the tumor’s defenses and to deliver potent pro-inflammatory factors directly to the tumor microenvironment (TME), thus unleashing potent anti-cancer immune responses. The firm is focused on developing iPSC-derived iMSC that express critical factors, such as pro-inflammatory cytokines.
