Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chartloom, a financial research and data visualization tool operated by CREATIVE SYNDICATES TECH LTD(Company Number: 17003909, England and Wales), trading as Chartloom ("we", "us", or "our"). Chartloom is a research platform and tool only; it is not a financial adviser and does not provide financial advice.

By creating an account, using the Service, or continuing to access the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Important Disclaimer, which forms part of your agreement with us. Our Privacy Policy also applies to your use of the Service.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" or "Platform" means the Chartloom website, applications, tools, data, and related services we provide.
  • "Content" means all data, text, charts, visualizations, and materials available through the Service.
  • "User Content" means portfolios, watchlists, saved models, scenarios, tier lists, alerts, notes, and other content you create or upload.
  • "Subscription" means a paid plan that grants access to premium features.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information and notify us of any changes. You may not create more than one account per person, or share your account with others. Each account is intended for use by a single individual. We may restrict or verify accounts that show signs of credential sharing or access from an unusually high number of devices.

Creating an account does not opt you into promotional email. We send service messages needed to run the account, including confirmation, security, billing, a factual welcome, and notices when trial access starts or ends. Product tips, feature updates, and promotional offers are optional and are sent only if you opt in, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw the optional email choice in account settings or from the unsubscribe link in those emails. Service messages cannot be switched off because the account needs them. Contact unsubscribe@chartloom.com.

4. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial to new users. The trial is limited to 14 days with full access to features. The trial is one-time only per user. No payment is required during the trial. When the trial ends, access to premium features will be revoked and your account will be downgraded to guest access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the trial at any time.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are available at the following prices (subject to change with notice): Pro plan at $10 per month, billed monthly. A Founding 100 early-adopter rate of $7 per month was offered for a limited time; that rate is no longer available for new subscribers but remains locked for existing founding subscribers for as long as they keep their subscription active. If a founding subscriber cancels and resubscribes, standard pricing applies. Payments are processed by our payment provider (or merchant of record). By subscribing, you also agree to any applicable terms of our payment provider (or merchant of record) that govern payment processing and billing.

Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel renewal at any time in account settings; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, and cancellation does not add a fee. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to a renewal. We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee: if you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, contact support for a full refund of that first charge.

If we change pricing, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice where we can still operate it, and we will refund unused subscription time. If a supplier failure forces an immediate stop, we will tell account holders as soon as we can and refund unused subscription time.

6. Returns, Cancellation and Refunds

Chartloom is a digital service. We do not ship physical goods, so traditional "returns" do not apply. This section explains cancellation and refunds for subscriptions and other paid access.

  • Cancellation. You can cancel renewal at any time through your account settings (or via our payment provider's billing portal, where applicable). Cancellation stops future renewals; access typically continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Cooling-off rights (consumers). If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may give you 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital services. Starting to use Chartloom does not, by itself, remove that right. We also keep the separate 14-day satisfaction refund described below. Nothing in these Terms removes a cancellation or refund right that the law says cannot be removed.
  • 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of your first paid subscription, contact support and we will process a full refund. Refunds are processed via our payment provider (or merchant of record) using the original payment method where possible.
  • Refunds after 14 days. Refund requests after the first 14 days may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but are not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable statutory rights you may have.
  • Refunds for unused subscription time. If we discontinue the Service or otherwise end your access, we will issue a refund for any unused portion of your subscription (e.g. the unused part of your current billing period).
  • Billing issues and chargebacks. If you believe you were billed in error, contact support promptly so we can investigate. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.

7. Service Description

Chartloom is a financial research tool and data visualization platform. We provide tools to help you access, visualize, and analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, charts, scenario modeling, AI-generated summaries, and related data. Financial and market data are provided by licensed third-party providers. AI summaries are generated using third-party AI services. The Platform is a research and analysis tool only; it does not provide, and should not be construed as, financial advice or personalised investment guidance of any kind. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Service or any data. We do not commit to a minimum level of uptime, although we make reasonable efforts to keep the Service operational. The Service may be modified. We will give reasonable notice before a change that removes a paid feature you are using, unless a security or legal reason requires a faster change. We rely on licensed third-party data. If a licence ends, we may have to change or stop the affected data, and we will say so in the Service and refund unused subscription time if the Service as a whole stops.

8. Financial Disclaimer

The Service is a research tool for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial professional. Chartloom provides tools to assist your own research; we do not provide personalised advice or guidance on any investment or financial decision. No content creates a fiduciary or advisory relationship. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Please read our full Important Disclaimer.

9. AI-generated content

Certain content on the Platform (including AI-assisted summaries based on financial filings, analyst estimates, institutional ownership, insider trades, and related public data) is produced using artificial intelligence (AI). Such content is for informational purposes only and is disclosed where it is displayed. We do not use AI for high-risk decision-making; these summaries are provided to assist research and do not constitute advice. For details on how we process data in connection with AI features, see our Privacy Policy.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of User Content you create. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display it as necessary to operate the Service. You represent that your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or for any other reason. After account termination, we may retain User Content for a reasonable period as described in our data retention practices. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us (e.g. via support or feature requests) may be used by Chartloom without obligation to you, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback.

Public posts. A public social post is not a licence for Chartloom to reuse it. We will display a review or comment only with your permission, or by using an embed that the platform's terms allow. If a post is shown and you ask us to remove it, contact support@chartloom.com and we will remove it.

11. Copyright and Intellectual Property Claims

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your or a third party's copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@chartloom.com with a description of the work, its location on the Service, and your contact details. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law. You may be liable for damages (including costs and legal fees) for misrepresentation or bad-faith claims.

12. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to: (a) use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to access the Service without permission; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code; (c) share your credentials or circumvent access controls; (d) use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws; (e) transmit malware, spam, or harmful content; (f) overload or disrupt the Service. We may implement rate limits and take action, including termination, for violations.

13. Licensed Data and Third-Party Content

The Service includes data and content supplied by third-party licensors ("Licensed Data"). Your use of the Service is subject to the following conditions regarding Licensed Data and other third-party content.

Restrictions on use.

You may not: (a) scrape, harvest, or extract Licensed Data from the Service through automated means (e.g. bots, scripts, or scrapers) except as permitted by our documented API or tools; (b) redistribute, resell, sublicense, or otherwise make Licensed Data or bulk extracts of it available to third parties; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source or structure of Licensed Data or the means by which it is provided; or (d) use Licensed Data to build a product or service that competes with the Service or that replicates substantial portions of the data.

Data integrity.

You may not distort, materially alter, or misrepresent Licensed Data when using, displaying, or sharing it. Where you present data derived from the Service, you must not present it in a manner that is misleading or that implies endorsement or accuracy guarantees we have not made.

No ownership or intellectual property.

You do not acquire any ownership, intellectual property rights, or other rights in the Licensed Data. All rights in the Licensed Data remain with us and our licensors. We grant you only a limited, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service (including Licensed Data as presented within the Service) for your personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms.

Data "as is" and disclaimers.

Licensed Data is provided "as is" and "as available". We and our data licensors disclaim all warranties, express or implied, with respect to the data, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability. We and our data licensors are not liable for any deficiencies, errors, unavailability, or interruptions in the data, or for any decisions or losses arising from your use of the data. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Intellectual Property

We own or license all rights in the Platform, including software, design, branding, and documentation. Third-party data providers retain their rights. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or internal business use. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the data or Content without our written permission. Your use of Licensed Data is further subject to Section 13 (Licensed Data and Third-Party Content).

15. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties for payments, financial data, AI processing, and other functions. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and links to external sites do not imply endorsement.

16. Privacy

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. We use third-party service providers for authentication, data storage, email delivery, and privacy-focused usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data.

17. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate, complete, or timely. Data may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable. Data and content from third-party providers are provided "as is"; we and those providers disclaim all liability for deficiencies, errors, or unavailability of such data.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM AND £100. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES. If you are a consumer, this cap and these exclusions apply only so far as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other law allow. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

If you are acting in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify CREATIVE SYNDICATES TECH LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents against claims, damages, losses, or reasonable legal fees arising from your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights. This indemnity does not apply to a consumer, and it does not cover claims caused by our own breach, negligence, or failure to comply with the law.

20. Termination

You may close your account at any time, without a fee, in account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms and do not fix the breach within a reasonable time after we tell you, or immediately where the breach is serious, unlawful, or a security risk. We will not end a paid subscription without a reason. If we discontinue the Service, Section 5 applies, including notice where we can give it and a refund of unused subscription time. Sections that should survive (including Limitation of Liability, Licensed Data, and Dispute Resolution) survive closure.

21. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you may bring a claim in the courts of your part of the United Kingdom, and mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence still apply. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first so a dispute can be resolved informally.

22. Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms. For a material change we will email the account address or show a notice in the Service at least 30 days before it applies, unless a legal or security change has to take effect sooner. If you do not agree, you can close the account before the change applies and we will refund unused subscription time for that change. Continued use is not, by itself, acceptance of a material change, and it is not consent to promotional email.

23. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government action, failure of third-party services or infrastructure, or other events outside our control.

24. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Important Disclaimer and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

25. Affiliate Programme

The following applies if you participate in the Chartloom Affiliate Programme. Participation requires application and approval. The programme may change; we will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to approved affiliates.

Commission and qualifying revenue

  • Unless specified otherwise in writing, the default commission is 30% of qualifying net subscription revenue Chartloom actually collects for a referred customer, after amounts we reasonably allocate to tax, discounts, credits, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and payment / merchant-of-record fees.
  • Commission applies to up to twelve (12) paid subscription invoices per referred subscriber, not unlimited renewals.
  • Commissions generally accrue only when a referred user is a first-time paying Chartloom subscriber in our systems. If they cancel and later resubscribe, that later subscription does not restart a fresh commission entitlement unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
  • We may withhold or reverse commissions for fraud risk, abusive traffic, attribution errors, or violations of these Terms or programme rules.

Attribution and tracking

  • Attribution relies on referral identifiers issued after approval (for example links such as chartloom.com/?ref=YOURCODE). Attribution is ordinarily captured when Chartloom recognises a signup or session aligned with those rules in the product workflow.
  • Qualifying attribution for the first paid invoice requires that the qualifying payment occurs before the attribution window lapses — currently up to sixty (60) calendar days from when Chartloom recognised the attribution, unless we advertise a different window.
  • You must not circumvent attribution rules, manipulate identifiers, operate multiple undisclosed accounts, or refer yourself.

Payout timing, clawbacks, and taxes

  • Earned commissions are typically eligible for payout after approximately thirty (30) calendar days from the qualifying paid invoice date, aligned with reconciliation and refunds.
  • There is generally no fixed minimum payout threshold for periodic manual payouts; we reserve the right to introduce one with notice.
  • Refunds:if a subscriber's qualifying payment is refunded or reversed in whole, related commission that has not yet been paid is forfeited or offset; commissions already paid may beclawed back from future payouts.
  • Chargebacks/disputes: commissions may be voided or clawed back similarly.
  • Affiliates are responsible for their own tax filings. Where required by law, we may request tax or payment information before paying you.

Disclosures (FTC, ASA/CAP-style, and plain transparency)

You must disclose that you earn compensation when recommending Chartloom, in line with FTC endorsement clearly adjacent to affiliate links where practicable — this helps viewers understand sponsorship.

Branded referral page and likeness

After approval, Chartloom may publish a branded affiliate referral page associated with your referral code (for example a page under /r/). Profile-picture permission is optional. If you grant that separate permission on the application form or later on the Affiliate page, you grant Chartloom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to obtain a publicly available profile picture from the social account or website you provide, store a copy in Chartloom systems, and display that image (together with your display name and any social links you approve for the page) on that branded referral page and in ordinary previews of it. Without that permission, the branded page shows initials (or no likeness) instead of your social profile picture. The licence is limited to operating and promoting the Affiliate Programme and the referral page; it is not a general right to use your likeness in unrelated advertising. You may withdraw this permission by contacting support@chartloom.com; we will remove the image from the public page within a reasonable time. Withdrawal does not by itself terminate your affiliate account or unpaid commissions that are otherwise due.

Prohibited activities

  • Unauthorised bidding on Chartloom's brand or confusingly similar terms in paid search or social ads.
  • Self-referral, circular referrals intended to inflate commissions, or synthetic signups.
  • Coupon aggregators without prior written consent, spam, deceptive claims about performance or returns.
  • Inappropriate placements (illegal content contexts, deceptive dark patterns).

Misuse may result in removal from the programme, forfeiture of unpaid commissions where permitted by law, and withholding of payouts pending investigation.

We may suspend or terminate the programme or individual affiliates at any time. Where lawful, unpaid balances may be withheld or forfeited if termination arises from breach.
